Eliminate all sorts of odors with heat

At one time or another, I’m sure each of us has walked into a room and said, “Yuck! It stinks in here!”

That odiferous room might have been

Yes, even that last item on the list can’t stand up to the odor-destroying power of our bed bug heaters. Yes, our bed bug heaters do so much more than just kill bed bugs.

The thermal pest eradication process was applied to disinfect a postmortem bacterial contamination in June of 1999. Precision Environmental heat treated a Costa Mesa, California condo where the owner had died and the body had remained in situ for 25 days.

Bacterial samples were taken before and after heat treatment. I’ve included the bulk viable microbiological analysis report below.

Prior to the treatment, Forensic Analytical Laboratories determined 101 bacterial colonies and 129,000 cfu/g (Colony-Forming Units per Gram) of bacterial contamination. After treatment, the laboratory measured one bacterial colony with 2,100 cfu/g of contamination. The two-day heat treatment resulted in a 98.4% reduction in bacteria in the condo.

The smell produced by a decaying body is one of the most offensive odors we can encounter. The TRS Extermination process killed nearly all the bacteria (both odor-generating and scent-neutral bacteria) which would have prevented future odors from forming. The convected heat from a Titan propane heater penetrated all surfaces and furnishings at the scene which denatured the odiferous molecules. Flushing the condo with two-day’s of 5,000 cfm of heated airflow generated by our Titan heater drove odiferous compounds from the structure and replaced the air within the condo many times.

Our propane bed bug heaters are safe to structures and contents yet 100% efficacious against all forms of insect pests. “Every living organism has a thermal death point” applies to every living organism— insects, as well as bacteria. Give us a call. We are ready with your unique application needs. We do our best to leave your house the way we found it but our main focus is killing the bed bugs. After at least three hours of 135°F heat we turn the heater off and load the equipment back into the trailer. We offer emergency bed bug extermination services, free bug identification, and general pest control. If you think you see bed bugs call TRS Extermination at 513-604-6332. Your bed bugs will be dead. Guaranteed.

Don’t take our word for it

Read more reviews for TRS Extermination at the BBBI agree with all the positive reviews. My initial call was handled very professionally...they were truly understanding of my “horror” at finding a bed bug. Ryan called me back within the hour and was able to come out that same afternoon. He conducted a thorough inspection, and even though no additional bugs were found, he still provided some helpful advice on how to monitor for them, including a CO2 device. All of this was provided at no charge. They will be the very first people I call for any pest problem. Very professional, experienced and honest.
